The second quarter of China's clothing online shopping market reached 26.7 billion

According to the forthcoming quarterly monitoring of China's online retail market in the second quarter of 2010 conducted by the Analysys think-tank, Enfodesk, the transaction volume in China's online retail market reached 117.34 billion yuan in the second quarter of 2010. Among them, the sales of apparel and apparel products reached 26.7 billion, up by 24% from the previous quarter.

Analysys data shows that the strong rebound in clothing and apparel proportions originates from traditional enterprises. Manufacturers including brands and distributors increased their investment in online shopping platforms such as Taobao in the second quarter; in addition, they represented footwear. The B2C vertical vendors gained capital recognition and strengthened their marketing efforts in the second quarter.
