The 10th China Casual Wear Expo yesterday concluded successfully
Last night, the closing ceremony of the 10th Service Expo Variety Show at Star Culture Square in Shaxi Town, Zhongshan City, marked the successful conclusion of the four-day China Casual Wear Fair. According to a report from the Shaxi Town Government, the event attracted 58 multinational purchasing delegations from 30 countries and regions, resulting in a total investment of 80.53 billion yuan. Among these, 68 investment projects were signed, totaling 1.121 billion yuan, while 101 trade agreements were made, with a trade volume reaching 6.941 billion yuan.
The Shanghai Mart organized over 150 apparel companies and 58 purchasing delegations from around the world to engage in business negotiations. Both international buyers and local garment enterprises expressed high satisfaction with the results. On-site, 26 contracts were signed, and nearly 100 manufacturing companies and merchants reached preliminary agreements and conducted immediate on-site inspections.
In addition, several travel agencies launched special tour routes related to the expo, making it a popular tourist destination. The "Zhongshan Tour" became a hit, with overseas agencies bringing 52 tour groups, including 13 business delegations, totaling over 5,300 visitors—the highest number ever recorded for this event. Visitors from across the country were amazed by the vibrant atmosphere and rich experiences offered during the fair.
During the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the service fair, several important events took place, including the release of the "White Paper on the Development Planning of Shaxi Leisure Clothing Industry," the publication of "Fengsha Shaxi and Fengsha Shaxi" Casual Wear Fashion Show, the Costume Prize Presentation Ceremony, the High-Level Forum on Casual Wear, as well as the 4th "Impact China" and the 2009 China Textile and Apparel Brands Impact Media Awards.
