Samsung designed training smart clothing for the Winter Olympics skaters

According to foreign media reports on January 3, Samsung recently developed a product called SmartSuit to help the Winter Olympics players to train. Samsung Holland is providing this smart wearable device to two Dutch short track skaters.

Samsung’s enthusiasm for promoting cooperation with the Olympics has only increased. Samsung is currently developing smart products for the sports world. Samsung Holland is deploying SmartSuits, a new integrated sensor training suit, for two Dutch short track skaters to enhance training efficiency and accuracy.

Each SmartSuit has five sensors that are specifically designed to work with the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone to feed accurate information about the athlete's body to the coach's phone. These sensors are accurate to the millimeter level. The training app's custom application collects athlete training data and accurately calculates the body position of the athlete's ice skates during speed skating. The coach can use this program to send a vibration signal to the athlete's SmartSuit, allowing them to pay attention to the adjustment action.

SmartSuit is tailored for athletes and will not be retailed on the market, but this smart wearable device can track your body's various indicators to improve health, which is more useful than the NFC Smart Suit that Samsung promoted at CES last year.
