Levis is a famous jeans brand founded by Jewish businessman Levi Strauss. In 1853, Levi Strauss founded Levi Strauss & Co., a manufacturer of canvas overalls. In 1873, he and another group, JACOB DAVIS, patented the “cracker” used on their buttoning jeans, marking the birth of the first pair of jeans.
