2008-2010 China Knitted or Crocheted Pullovers, Cardigans, Outerwear, and Similar Products (HS: 6110) Export Profile

From 2008 to 2010, the export value of Chinese knitted or crocheted pullovers, cardigans, vests and similar products was US$16.06 billion, US$14.92 billion and US$17.02 billion, respectively. The export of China's knitted or crocheted pullovers, cardigans, vests, and similar products is obviously cyclical. In February each year, it is the export trough, and from July to September, it is the export peak of the product.

In the top 20 countries in terms of export value of China's knitted or crocheted pullovers, cardigans, vests, and similar products in 2010, the export share of Germany, the United States, and South Africa improved faster than in 2008, Kyrgyzstan. The share of exports from Stan, the Russian Federation, and South Korea fell faster than in 2008.

From 2008 to 2010, Chinese clothing was mainly exported to countries such as the United States, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. The export value to the United States and Germany showed an increasing trend, and exports to Hong Kong showed a slight downward trend.

The main sources of clothing exports in China are Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai and Shandong, and the clothing export of these 5 provinces/cities accounts for more than 3/4 of the total export value.
