Winter warm clothing prices continue to increase cashmere sweater, thermal underwear and other price increases by nearly 20%

Affected by many factors such as rising raw material prices, rising labor costs, and increased operating expenses of sales companies, the clothing prices in the urban areas have risen quarter by quarter this year, and the rising prices of newly listed cold clothing this winter are even more pronounced.

According to the latest survey conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics's Nantong Survey Team, the monthly price of clothing products in the city rose by 2.1% month-on-month in November, up 7.8% year-on-year, of which prices for warm clothing such as cashmere sweaters and thermal underwear rose by nearly 20%.

Among the 17 winter clothing products that were included in the survey in November, 14 prices increased year-on-year, with the largest gains being: Hengyuanxiang brand men's and women's sweaters, up 16.3% to 18.4%; Ordos brand men's and women's cashmere sweaters, Rose 17.5% to 18.2%; three* brand men's and women's warm cotton underwear, up 15.9%; AB brand men's and women's ordinary underwear, up 15.8%; Century Seal brand men's leather jacket, rose 9.9%; Hengyuan Xiang brand full wool, rose 6.9%.
