In recent years, Jiujiang City has promoted sound and rapid development of the textile and garment industry through the joint reorganization of enterprises, implementation of the withdrawal of cities from the city, increased technological research and development, and the cultivation of independent brands. The brand construction has promoted the transformation of Jiujiang textile and apparel companies from "order processing type" to "brand management type", and has driven the healthy and orderly development of the whole industry.

In recent years, relevant departments at various levels in Jiujiang have made concerted efforts to overcome difficulties and hardships. In order to reduce the production costs of cotton spinning enterprises, Jiujiang Textile Industry Association actively helps enterprises apply for imported cotton quotas, processing trade quotas, and purchases of state reserve cotton according to the actual situation of domestic and foreign cotton with a price difference of 5,000 to 6,000 yuan per ton. Last year, 24 cotton spinning enterprises in the city applied for import quotas, processing trade quotas were 8,000 tons, and national reserve cotton purchases were 15,000 tons.
