43 luxury brands and organizations sign the UN Climate Action Charter for Fashion Industry

The initial goal of the Fashion Industry Climate Action Charter is to reduce the total greenhouse gas emissions of the fashion industry by 30% by 2030. In order to make concrete progress in these areas, the Fashion Industry Climate Action Charter has established six working groups, and the signatories will identify specific implementation steps in these working groups.

In addition, the Fashion Industry Climate Action Charter also hopes to achieve a net zero emissions vision by 2050 and identify issues that signatories need to address, including decarbonization, environmentally friendly and sustainable material selection, and low carbon transportation.
